Properties BT52:

A new wireless thermostat that takes advantage of all the benefits of heating systems with OpenTherm (OT +) communication protocol for greater energy savings for heating! The setting and selection of functions is on the transmitter, the receiver indicates all statuses using colored LEDs. It allows to set the type of boiler (universal, Thermona electric or gas., Ferroli, Viessmann), the thermostat was also tested on the new Viadrus NAOS boiler.

BT52 and OpenTherm protocol usage:

Based on this protocol, two-way communication between the thermostat and the boiler takes place. The BT52 thermostat receiver receives the necessary information (eg on outdoor temperature), which it then processes and transmits to the transmitter. From the information obtained, the thermostat recalculates the desired water temperature of the heating system and passes it back to the boiler. BT52 can be used for boilers communicating under the OpenTherm protocol and meeting the technical specifications.
